The Board of Managers of the Brotherhood of Gethsemane presents their eighth annual report which includes a review of their work for the year past and the work of the Parish of Gethsemane, of which the Brotherhood forms a part. Statistical and financial data included for various aspects of the Parish, from services at the County Jail to lectures and entertainments. Also includes a report of the work of the Cottage Hospital during the sixth year of its existence.

Congregation standing in front of church; address of Jacoby's Artistic studio listed as 252 Nicollet Ave; donor identified church as First Free Baptist Church which was erected in 1871 and taken down 1891; it was located on Washington Ave near 1st Ave. N (not located on 1887 city atlas); cannot verify that any churches listed on verso of card were the church on the stereographic card.

Interior of Lake Street Methodist Church decorated for Christmas. Located at Lake Street and Freemont Ave. South, Minneapolis. Lake Street Methodist was begun in 1885 as an daughter church of Simpson Methodist Episcopal. Rev. James Teeter issued a call to start a new congregation in "that district lying in the outskirts of the city, the territory to the East of Lakes Calhoun and Harriet and adjacent to Lake Street." Later it was renamed Joyce Memorial Methodist Church in honor of Bishop Isaac Wilson Joyce.

This view from the end of the dock faces the stone wall and steps built along the shoreline of the Methodist Young People's Lakeside Assembly Association grounds, with two men in the foreground viewing the lake, several buildings in the background nestled in the trees. It was located on the border between Woodland and Minnetonka. Message from resident to her mother that her room is upstairs in a cottage with the front screened in.

Tipi-Wakan Christian Club's three-story gambrel-roofed building has two-story columns at its entrance, with a screened porch on the first floor, and decks on the second and third floors. The building was originally built by the Great Northern Railroad and managed by James and Amanda Woolnough as the Maple Heights Inn. In the 1920s it was sold, renamed Tipi-Waken, and used as a Christian-affiliated clubhouse offering meeting space and retreat opportunities. The building was razed in 1964.
