The 2002 annual meeting of the Minnesota Academy of Science took place at Gustavus Adolphus College on April 26-27, 2002. This program shows 50+ scientific talks, ranging from restoration ecology to wind power in Minnesota rural electric cooperatives, plus posters. The featured speaker was Professor Richard M. Fuller on "The Manhattan Project Revisited," and a special conference event was a geology field trip to the Minnesota River Valley. The Winchell abstracts and full-text of the published papers are available in the digitized Journal of the Minnesota Academy of Science.
