Booklet describing and summarizing a 1945 survey of Duluth employers and women employees in local manufacturing, transportation, retail and wholesale businesses, laundries, hotels, and restaurants to gather information about the workplace experiences and needs of women entering the blue-collar work force after World War II. Survey questions also addressed needs outside of work and attitudes toward unions and racial minorities.
This pamphlet includes Christian spiritual lessons and the Lord's Prayer in Dakota. The Santee Normal Training School instructed Dakota children in the Dakota language. These children came from families who were removed from Minnesota to Nebraska after the U.S.-Dakota War in 1863. Reverend A.L. Riggs founded the school in 1870 as an academy to train Native teachers. The school developed a printing press in 1871 and produced many materials in the Dakota language.

Pamphlet comparing Fargo, North Dakota to Moorhead, Minnesota and the differences between the cities in terms of the number of saloons, city debt, city tax rate, and miles of pavement, water mains, and sewers. Includes the phrase, "The towns are not a mile apart."

The Minneapolis Society of Fine Arts (incorporated 1883 and existing to the present), is the parent and governing body for the Minneapolis Institute of Art (opening in 1915 and existing to the present). Prior to 1915, collections were housed and exhibitions hosted at the Minneapolis Public Library. The Society was also the parent body for the Minneapolis School of Fine Arts (established in 1886 and existing under the society's governance until 1988), housed at the public library and other locations from 1889 to 1915. In 1970, the school changed its name to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and in 1988 it became an independent organization. Information from the society on its plans to reorganize its membership in order to further fund the school of art, to promote the creation of a symphony orchestra, and to build a municipal art museum for housing collections and providing room for the school. 1 folded sheet (4 unnumbered pages).

This pamphlet uses American Sign Language to illustrate The Lord's Prayer. The front page has the phrase "The Lord's Prayer" printed in the American fingerspelled alphabet. This pamphlet was used at the Ephphatha Lutheran Church for the Deaf in Faribault, which was attended by local deaf people.
