This issue is dedicated to the upcoming Tri-State (Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin) Convention to be held at the Hotel Schroeder in Milwaukee, WI, October 18-21, 1939, and includes travel costs, schedules, accommodations, and the tentative program. Issue also includes a note from the MLA President, Ruth Rosholt, and a section entitled Library Potporri, including news of Gratia Countryman's cornerstone dedication speech at the Champlain Library, Appointments (job notes), Travel, Stag Section (Male MLA members), Marriages, and News Around the State. Minnesota News includes an update on the Newspaper Indexing Project under the supervision of Gratia Countryman, and the Microfilming section working on the Minneapolis Journal (1878-1939).
