My darling Mamma.
Oh how I wish we could be at home today. I wish that every day but holidays we get more homesick than we do at other times for we feel that if we only lived East or somewhere near N[ew] Y[ork] we could spend our holidays at home. We are oni invited out to dinner. Dr. and Mrs. McKinley are going to give a Thanksgiving dinner. The Bridgmans & ourselves are invited and I dont [sic] know whether any other faculty people are to be there or not. The State University gave quite a fine reception
