My dear Jule,
Your letter came this morning. I tell you what I had a tough time all last week. I didn't have a single word from home for over a week and I was beginning to get horribly blue and homesick. Mamma's letter reached me on Saturday Eve[ning], there was also one from Lottie in the same mail, both were written before the storm, and Lottie spoke of the beautiful balmy spring weather. Of course both letters were warmly welcomed, and I was awfully glad to get them, and yet so
