              will be assured that in the future the tax policy of the state of minnesota for taeonite and serai-taconite operations will be fair equitable , and without discrimination therefore ; be it enacted by the legislature of the state of minnesota section !?Çó that the following tax policy is established relating to the taxes imposed upon or required to be paid with respect to the mining production or benef iciation of taconite or seml^taconite to assure those who are now engaged in or who may in the future construct plants to engage in the mining production and benef iciation of taconite or semi taeonite that the taxes imposed thereon will be fair equitable and without discrimination and all future sessions of the minnesota legislature are urged to conform with this declaration of policy and the pledge here in enacted ?½ ' fl~sf ?Çó* t o sec 2 the tax rate s^and the method of computation of thsse taxes a.s^^h^^^^^b^^^^n january 1 19^3 and as imposed by sections 298 ?Çó 01 through 2fs#l8 inclusive , and sections 299.01 through 299.11 inclusive upon or required to be paid by any person or corporations engaged in the mining production or benef iciation of taconite or semi taconite by reason of their mining production or benef iciation of taconite or seml-taconite shall not be fa ft 4 hereafter increased directly indirectly or by any new tax or surtax in a ratio greater than the ratio of increase of tax ratesa imposed by the income tax including surtaxes upon corporations transacting business within the h j 2
