Oldenburg, September 21, 1947Dear Mr. Peterson, Finally I get to write to you, it was not possible before since I had to adjust myself to a lot of new things here. I hope, dear Mr. Peterson, you remember me. We had had such a good time on your farm and in America. Here in Germany I had to find a new house since my homeland is Silesia which is now occupied by Poland. We could only get a release from captivity if we had a home address to list. So I came to my brother who lives here in Oldenburg (nothing Germany).
