TURKEY TIME" IN 703
Two hundred and forty odd, intellectual, individuals stood out
in the cold",frigid,air Thursday

with cars washed, hair, combed and
teeth parted,they looked a sight
fit for a king,,They smacked lips
which were parched from hunger
and thirst,loosened belts,opened
their shirt collars.,for some you
know hadn't eaten for two days
or more.They had been standing
there one hour to be exact, while
the wind whipped about them," but
that mattered not.Weren't they
going to eat tho? Boy.T I can see

butter,rolls,pies,salads,turkey,
and cake, were simply heaped -upon the table .As the last .'.fellow
straggled in the door the oomia-
and of "seats"\7as given and .did
they dive into the "grub". ' Boy.'
Oh,' Boy J not one word was ' spoken, but their hands worked with
precision like accuracy as thpy
speared a bun,or a choice morsel
or ta.ojor,maybe three of turkey.
Man,alive Jthe turkey flow in all
directions,peas were spilled,but
that didn't hinder them any for
they were there to eat and they
weren't to be stopped. Platters
were emptied in short notice and
were refilled again and again.
Woe/.'how they could pack it away.
Their eyes hung halfway out of
