Doctor 0. E. Snyker
is an exceedingly busy man
these days; besides being
able to run up to 711
every few days to look
after his patients here at
his hone camp, he is now
temporarily looking after
the health of Co's 704 and
3703. A scarlet fever
epidenic which broke out
at 704 had even their Doc-
ter ill, hence the need
of tkier "using our Doc."
for a spell. All of us at
711 hope our Doc gets back
to us soon so that we nay
again get sick "in earnes'.
TELEPHONE LUTE DOM
Monday's strong wind
disrupted Co. 711's phone
service until the break at
Big Lake was discovered by
Ed. Reed and Charles Schmidt, ace 711 linenen. The
break was soon repaired.

YONKER ON LEAVE
Helvin Yonker, Junior
Assistant to Technician in
the Forest Service is now,
until January 7, on a leave
looking for employment. If
he is successful in locating a job, he will return,
to recoive his discharge;-
if he does not find a job
he says he will return to
enroll as a member in the
CCC. Yonker was formerly
an enrollee but joined the
forestry when he successfully passed the examination for the Junior Technician job.

send, who since Feb. 2,]937
was engaged as Junior Forester with this camp, was
transferred on Dec. 29,1937
to Seagull Camp F-55, Co.
3709.
While at Co. 711,Dick
(who hails from Duluth, by
the way), worked on various
jobs—timber sales, tree-
planting, Timber Stand Improvement, and fire-fighting being chief among then.
In his 11-month stay here,
Townsend gained a host of
friends among enrolleesand
Personnel, and it is with
regret that we see him go.
Previous to coming to
711, he was engaged as an
LEM at Co's 703 and 712,at
the same time finishing a
college training.
In a form of reciprocal exchange, Co. 711 lias
received Foresters Frank
L. Dolence and George E.
Seaberg from the abandoned Co. 715 at Brittnount ,
near Virginia. Dolence was
transferred on Dec. 28 and
Seaberg on Jan. 2, To then,
to the ten new enrollees from Co. 715, we offer
a hearty WELCOME.
