Members of this command desiring
discharges prior to the termination of
their enrollment on March 31, 1934 are
cautioned to notify their allottees to
have the request for discharge sworn
to before a Notary Public. The Notarial
certificate must include the words 'being
personally known to me'. Properly accomplished affidavits forwarded to the
cam-> will facilitate a promot discharge.
There will be no more mandatory discharges for length of service. Enrollments and reenrollments effected during
the next period will terminate at the
discretion of the United States on September 30, 1935.
Members of this command will be eligible for reenrollment April 1, 1935 providing there has been no change in the
status under which they were originally
selected for enrollment and providing
that reenrollment is not denied for not
being worthy of reenrollment. War Dept.
regulations provide that an enrollee
may be denied the,privilege of reenrollment fo,r. 'unsatisfactory perfor-
mance of. duti e s'.
•Apparently there will be a large
number of new members in this organi-
zation:.after April 1, 1935 as it is
expected that about 163 replacements
wilj^ be .sent to this camp. The authorized .strength of this camp has been
set at 232 Junior enrollees. A number
of loyal, conscientious enrollees who .
have displayed their ability to lead
will be rewarded when they fall heir
to the ratings made vacant when several
of the present assistant leaders terminate their enrollment and elect to take
To facilitate transmission of important telegrams, enrollees should notify their correspondents to send messages care of the Commanding Officer of
this camp so that emergency messages can
be promptly taken over the telephone.
