CAPTAIN DAVIS ANNOUNCES A BIGGER AND BETTER CAMP D.'.

Allotment checks will not be mail
ed to allottees by the Finance Officer
until after the original payroll on
which members of this company has teen
returned to the Finance Officer. This
change in Finance procoodure will delay the forwarding of the allotment
checks about 5 days. All ncmbees of
the company arc requested to notify
their allottees that the receipt of
allotment checks should not be expected prior to thc tenth of tho month
following that for which tho allotment
is to bo paid.
The attention of all concerned is
invited to Company Memorandum Numbor 1
dated July 9, 1935, a copy of which
has boon posted on the Bulletin Board.
Compliance with thc leave and pass regulations contained in this Memorandum
will obviate possible disapproval of
roqucsts for week-end leaves.
The number of Second Corps Area
companies to be sent to the Corps Area
ha3 been reduced from 32 to 22 companies. All 22 companies will be sent to
the Minnesota District, C.C.C, sometime during October 1935.
The 11 man cadre for Company 4217
C.C.C. has been transferred to this
command.
Capt. and Mrs. E.B. Mooman of Fort
Snellie. , Minnesota, visited this camp
on Saturday, July 20, 1935. Capt. Mooman is District Adjutant of Minnesota
District, CCC. Capt. and Mrs. Mooman
were oocorted to camp by Capt. Carl A.
Anderson, East Suoerior Sub-District,
CCC Commando-. Both Captain Mooman and
Captain Anderson commented on the excellent appearance of the camp.
Much Planned Social Event To
Be Held On July 20th
We of the 'Sullivanite', can only
bring you the news. This week we are
proud to announce our Captain's plans
for the greatest Camp Dance that has
ever graced this Company.
Why a better Onet The-reason is
simple* to ba able to dance to the
tantalizing music of one of the finest
orchestras that Duluth has ever boasted, is a joy one does not easily forget.
The Captain, in plaaning this event, has thought of several surprises.
He is extending his invitation to the
parents and friends of the members of
this Company. That Buffet lunch which
our Mess St .ward is preparing - It's
going to be different. Something that
can only be rut up with a great amount
of planning and expense can equal a
Buffet lunch of this unique type.
As for the transportation, everything has bean a—-anged. Busses will
Ae suoolied to bring the fair young
Indies from Duluth. The time - 7:30.
The place - Duluth Y.W.C.A. At Two
Harbors, the busses will leave the Agate Bay Hotel at 7:00. Tracks will be
the medium of transportation for girls
in the vicinity of the camp.
Thc young ladies that havo attended previous dances have boen of the
nicest type. Thoy wore very sociable
and friendly. A now group of facos
will be present among the familiar
ones. Wc hope thoy will find thc entertainment very enjoyable, which will
assure their return to future dances.
This is your dance.  All arrang-
monts havo been made to make it perfect as far as the technical side of
concerned. Now,  to make it a
success, much is due to you enrollees.
