Official Bulletins
Tho attention of all members of
this command is- invited, toamilitary
regulations, which reauire-all correspondence to higher military authority
to go through the Camp Headquarters.
Several members have written directly
to higher authority, and. their letters
have been returned to Camp Headquarters for further action. Irregular
correspondence creates additional.work
for the Ca. ap Headquartors and usually
additional duty for the enrollee violating the correspondence requirements
Special orders have bean issued.

Under the C.C.C. Expansion Program, Minnesota is allotted 104 work
projects. The 104 work Companies will
include the 69 Minnesota Companies, and
the 4 Kansas Companies now in the Minnesota District. 2 Kansas Companies
and 1 Missouri Company will be sent in
to the State. 28 Companies "from the
Second Corps Area- with Headquarters at
Boston, Mass. will come to-Minnesota.
6 North Dakota Companies will be sent
back to North Dakota.
The excellent work carried on
after working hours by the entire organization through-out May has given
the Camo a splendid appearance. Once
the Camp work is completed, a few minutes work on the part of each enrollee
daily, can keep the Camp appearance up
to standard, and fatigue on Saturday
mornings can be discontinued.
Club reveals lots of pepper
Season opens Officially,
May 26 th.
Company 719 has a baseball team
that it can be very proud of. In the
two pre-season practice games, they
proved to be unbeatable, downing Goose
berry Camp by an 8 to 5 count and Eig
Lake Camp via a 6 to 4 victory. In
both of these -games the entire team re
vealed their ability to handle their
respective positions. Palm, on the
slab, proved to he practically incomparable, while Wichtermar took pity on
the backstop in beautiful form. Ras-
mussen at 3rd, Richardson at 2nd, Chr-
istianson at 1st and Mars den at short
composes a snappy and well-balanced in
field. In the out-field we have Stro-
ble, Kangas, McWaters, Wenzell, Kraker
and Schuette, who hold down their respective positions very capably. Last
but assuredly not least, we have John
I Majorr playing manager, who when not
nursing a delicate side, handles an
out-field position in Ben Chapman form
All in all, we have a team that
'-ill, undoubtedly, rate near the top,
if not on it, in the coming Sub-District play-off.
The season will open officially
on Sunday, May 26, 1935. We will encounter the Gooseberry Camp for the
initial game. According to the way
they trouncad tho Goosoborrycttos in
a practice game and witnessing their
punctual evening practices, we are
positive they will 'take' them like
Grant took Richmond. You members of
the team can rest assured that if any
possible method of transporting fans
reveals itself, you will be backed to
the utmost.
Let's see you 'grab' the title.
