Barrack Improvements
The efforts on the part of the
boys for the past two weeks have added greatly to the interior appearance
of the barracks. The &6.ckers have■>been
raised eight inches off the floor, making it possible to keep the floor clean
behind them.New five-foot fire shelves
have been installed, supporting three
large pails of water and two smaller
pails of sand - two shelves to each
barrack. All the bunks have been given
a coat of aluminum paint, adding a luster to the previously dull losing "teds.
Small flower beds adorn the front
of each barrack, adding a touch of
beauty to the- apjfcwa&d qgpearance of the
camp.
The old camp is really beginning
to shine now, thanks to the splendid,
co-operation and efforts of all . the
men.
Bernard D&nni_igt4.seistent art—editor of our paper, was discharged from
the Company Wednesday last.
Complications caused .by release
from former company made him inel-
ible for enrollment in another.
Camp Dance
Captain Davis informed the press
that the next camp dance will be held
on Saturday, June 6. •

guys. Extend an invitation - it would
not be a dance without her.

Camp Clean-Up
Thc camp has taken on a splendid
luster, thanks to the men who worked
the past throe nights after coming in
from the field. The rocks, marking off
the width of the walks, wore all raised
and replaced, resulting in a cleaner
and more striking appear?nco. All the
grass was cut and. numerous loads of
gravel wos spread about the company
_treet.
Just -another improvement to make
our 'Second To None' motto more sound,

two Thursday nights by District Chaplain, Gartner. Chaplain Gartner substituted for Rev. Jones, who is, at
