A meeting of trie northfield Arts Guild Board of Directors
was held at the Center, Tuesday, January 10. Those present were;
Buck, Butler, Bond, Srickson, Johnson, Perman, Sykes, wing,
Brust, Stoughton, Haworth, Freeman and Mathre.
The Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The treasurer's report showed a balance on hand of §1, lybV/y.
A motion wa--* made that the bills be paid. The division chairmen
are to be notified that all bills be sent to them for an okay
and sign'ture. The treasruer, in turn, will pay only the bills
that have been signed.
It was suggested that Mrs. Carver be given a gift for
her services to the Guild. Since there are many deserving
people serving the Guild, it was left up to the division
chairman to decide who is to be paid and the amount to be paid.
The question was raise' as to whether or not we should
give a percentage of our profit from the Medicine Show to the
Jaycees. Dan Freeman, who is a member of the Jaycees, stated
that we no longer had to do this.
Claire Erlekson volunterred to paint the Arts Guild
Emblem on the sign :,n front of the building.
Myrna reported that the phonograph purchased from Johnson's
TV is in working condition and that the Guild elans to Keep it.
The Secretary was instructed to sent thank you notes to
Lola PicK and Jerry Marcel for their services to the Guild as
Kr. Loesch has resigned as of February 1. it was suggested
