To EAGLE BUTTE, S. D., from where delegates
will be taken to Green Grass.
WAGON OR AUTOMOBILE:
1. From the North: follow the Capital Highway via Fort Yates, McLaughlin, Little Eagle, and
Timber Lake across the Moreau River Bridge (marked
Blue and White), then follow sign to Green Grass.
2. From the East: Take Highway 22 (short cut)
via Watertown, Redfield, Gettysburg, Cheyenne
Agency, to La Plant .and Eagle Butte.
3. From the South: Go to Midland, S. D.,
then follow marked trail to Eagle Butte, via
Cheyenne River bridge.
4. From the West: Take Yellowstone Trail
to McLaughlin, then follow the road as given under No. 1 above.
Road from Eagle Butte to Green Grass : Go
1/2 mile East, 1 mile North, 2 miles East, 1 mile
North, 1 mile East, then straight North on Timber
Lake road to Moreau River, from where the road
to Green Grass is marked.
All these roads are graded except those in
the breaks of the Moreau River, part of the road
between La Plant and Mossman, and the road from
the Cheyenne River bridge to Eagle Butte.
