STORES CLOSED
SUNDAY
All stores in the village with
the exception of confectioneries
and drug store will hereafter
be closed all day on Sundays.
For the convenience of patrons
during warm weather meat markets will be open on Sundays
from 8:30 to 9:80 a. m. and 11:30
a. m. to 1:30 p. m. and implement dealers will be permitted
to sell repairs during harvest.
The merchants are generally
pleased with this arrangement
as it gives them one day in the
week for rest and recreation.
An Aerial Railway.
The first aerial railway is
in the course of construction.
The idea is a german one, and,
while very ingenious, is altogether touchemerical for practical use. When you feel vour
nerves unstrung fr>";m a dav

.Sheep Lost.
L. Kobilka lost five sheep
over a month ago and altho he
has advertised for same and offered a reward he has succeeded
in locating only one of them so
far. Perhaps some farmer in
this vicinity has them among
his flocks and has not taken the
time or trouble to make it
known, if so kindly notifiy
