Dear Doctor:
We are in the ma
for the following seed coi n:
50 Bu. Minn. No. 13.
50 Bu. Long-fellow "Flint"
75 Bu. N. W. Dent,
and have been wondering if it
were not possible for you to refer us to some farmers in tlie vicinity of Pierz, that could furnish us with the above seed corn.
Should you be fortunate en
tojjind parlies having seed
sale, have thfcm send us
and quote us price P. O. B.
rz. They have to guarantee
that corn showed satisfactory
germination; not less than ninety-five per-cent.
Would also be glad to i
them quote us price on red clover and timothy.
Thanking you in advance for
any favor you may do us in this
way, and hoping you are all enjoying the best of health, J remain,
Yours Respectfully,
C. I. Virnig.
POTATO MEETING
A meeting will be held in
Hubert Hares' Hotel on Friday
March 8, at half past one inj
the afternoon, for the pur;
of disc issi'i-g potato culture in
Pierz. Lei. us gat together
and taik over what kind and1
quantity of seed potatoes to get
for the coning season. There
is no question but that Pierz!
and surrounding country will!
yield as large profits in potatoes
as in anything else, especially:
since wheat is a thing of the1
past. With the Soo line connection, with the large consuming centres, we ha/ve ugood
market at our.doors, ii' we can
only furnish the variety the
market calls for. AVI those
interested are invited to come.
