Convocations
Show Variety
For December
For you—the students, R. J. C.
has planned assemblies for the
coming quarter.
A health convocation will be
held in the middle of December.
This assembly will describe the
Mantoux test for tuberculosis, present a film, and a few J. C. students will feature a skit.
Around December 7 a pep assembly wil] be held to arouse
school spirit for our first basketball game.
It would not be Christmas without an assembly being held before vacation, so on December 20
have your voice in good tune for
community singing. At this convocation the J. C. Choir and a
play will also be presented.
Door prizes will -be given at
each assembly through drawing
of locker numbers.
Every two or three weeks a
committee of students and faculty meet to plan these convocations. This committee consists of
Joan Books, Pat Blethen, Harry
Wernecke, John Lehnherr, Miss
Goette, Miss McGhee, Mr. Bateman and Mr. Kortz.

open the program with a welcoming speech. Edith deGroot,
