"Bernadine" was formerly a Broadway hit and deals mainly
rh a young boy's fight to. free himself from an over-domineering
ee' jther. Plenty of laughs are contributed by the gang at the Sham-
:k, who are led into their hilarious escapades by the "King," Beau-
>nt. What happens during one-day to this gang makes for a hilari-
s evening's entertainment.

24 Businessmen
Visit Classes,
Tour College
A highly successful Education-
Business Day was held on Wednesday, January 29 at J. C. and
other public and private schools
of Rochester. The purpose of the
day was to let the businessmen
of the city become better acquainted with the schools and
the personnel and to receive a
better understanding of the school
system in general.
The morning began with all
persons meeting in Central Auditorium where they were issued a
formal welcome. Following this,
twenty-four businessmen came to
J. C. in Coffman Hall where a
brief tour of the school facilities
and the counseling bureau was
begun. After this, the persons
visited J. C. classes between 10:00
and 11:30. In these hours, some
persons were able to see as many
as six different classes.

Monitor Program
Reviews News
Last Friday morning J. C. was
treated to the I.R.C.'s annual production of Monitor. With John
Gannon and1 Caroline House as
commentators the show got off to
a noisy start, what with a screach-
ing bicycle horn and an out-of-
tune xylophone. The show quickly fell into a set pattern of news,
Miss Melody, the calorie counter,
and on the spot reporting. Handling the news were Chuck Rucker,
Donna Harms, Barbara Stiles,
Hewitt Green, Gerald Prow, Carolyn Erickson, Patsy Tupper, Judd
Thompson, Ellen Hansen, Rene
Graen, and Bob Riflinger.*1 The
news ranged from on the spot reports from Europe to Ghona to
Little Rock.
Other highlights of the show
were the German translations of
English words, such as missile,
anti-missile, etc. done quite well
by Patsy Tupper.
Bea Tenley did .a fine job as
Miss Melody. She asked for requests from certain members of
fhe audience, Sue Vanberg, Frannie Washburn, Tom Seldon, and
Nancy Cowan.
Hewitt Green's part in the program, as the calorie counter proved to be the best received by the
audience.
On the whole the program,
under the direction of Mr. Walter
