Dear Fellow Citizen:
In a few days the people of America will go to the ballot box and decide the leader¬ ship of the nation for the next four years.
That decision will be of tremendous importance to the future of our people of every walk of life.
As you know, I have been giving every ounce of my energy to placing the vital issues before the people. We are facing a powerful, ruthless and clever political machine grasping for more power in violation of the third term tradition.
To meet this vicious drive in these final, crucial days in this election, I need your volunteer help in every way that you can think of, using your acquaintances, friends, relatives and neighbors, swinging people to our support, and seeing to it that our supporters vote.
The effort of the men and women of the country to whom this letter is addressed may mean the diifference between victory and defeat on Novem¬ ber 5th. I hope I can count on you to join in full measure in this crusade to build America, make her strong, and keep her free.
