Pour years ago ay aether, Mrs* itattle a. Baseett, widow of Edward H. Saasett. Jo* 0* 1st Minnesota, Joined with ayself and wife in entertaining at my home the regiment at its 66th Annual Reunion.    At that tine out of the §4 surviving a-a ore 84 answered the roll oall.  ulnoe then 88 have answered to the last roll oall, leaving but 46 surviving members of the old 1st Minnesota*    How many of theee 44 living meabsrs will be able to attend the 60th reunion we cannot tell but hope a goodly nunbor.
will you not drop us a line on the enclosed sheet statin* whether you will or will not be present at the reunion.    This will help Ure. Baseett and aysslf in our plans for luncheon and entertainment*    Xf you cannot come will you not write a short 'assuage at the bottom of this sheet to be read at the meeting.
