Library books are subject to hard wear. The Public Library keeps
a group of assistants mending books all through the year. Their expert
hands repair about 40,000 volumes annually. Were it not for their skill,
your Library would have to discard many of these damaged books.
We ask your cooperation in preserving books. Take care of the
volumes you borrow and thus
HELP YOUR LIBRARY CONSERVE ITS BOOKS
