Your letters of the 18th came today and I was glad on Art's account.
I expect to build a boat house at the end of Mr. Johnson's dock. He has got an eccentric landlord in he wanted more rent and Mr. J. won't pay any more as the property needs repairs. I think however he will stay there and if so I will build at once. Regarding Piggins and your movements do as you think best. I am convinced you know what you are about so I will make no objection to anything you wish to do or any where you want to go. I'm glad you did not mind expense while the Kendricks were with you. The frolics you had will do you lots of good and after the years of hard work you have done you deserve a rest and a good time. I think Mrs. Kingsbury is well. I still have that leather stock - it has acted the meanest you ever saw at one time it was up to 15 and looked as if it was going way up but it went down to 12 - is now 13 1/2. I want it to go a little above 15 so I can put
