My dearest Jule,
Yesterday we had a "blizzard", and now we know what that word means. Winter has been trying to settle itself on us for several days in fact all last week was struggling to get up a snow storm. at last on Thanksgiving we had quite a fall of snow, the temperature was below freezing, so the snow was perfectly dry, (and tho[ugh] I wore my red sl silk dress, & no waterproof I hadn't a single wet spot on it when I reached the Mc. K.'s.) it was lovely out on Thurs. and at night we didn't feel a bit cold, and enjoyed being out in the storm. On Friday afternoon we had more snow, but yesterday A.M. it had stopped, we were going to do some errands
