Babcock, Commissioner of Highways, after investigation of the application made by >Jefferson Highway Association< on the >9th< day of >August< 191 >7<, do find that the application is meritorious and the Highway Trail therein described is worth of registration and protection under the provisions of Chapter 318, Laws of 1917. Therefore; it is ordered that the said Highway Trail be registered in the office of the Highway Department, as starting from >So. [South] line of Freeborn Co on St. Road #7< and thence via >No [North] and N Wly[?] thru cities and villages as noted below< and terminating at >N.
