Title	Trail registration for the East and West Highway, Minnesota

Description	Official highway trail registration form 116, recording and approving the highway trail that started from "St. Paul, thence to Minneapolis, Waverly, Litchfield, Willmar, Benson, Morris and Graceville and terminating at Browns Valley" and known as East and West Highway. Application was submitted by the East and West Highway Association on the 16th day of June 1919 and approved on the 8th day of July 1919. Form features an image of a square with the top third and bottom third in white and the middle third in green. It is signed by Commissioner of Highways Charles M. Babcock.

Transcript	18 Form 116. STATE OF MINNEOSTA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT I, Charles M. Babcock, Commissioner of Highways, after investigation of the application made by >East and West Highway Assn [Association]< on the >16th< day of >June< 191 >9<, do find that the application is meritorious and the Highway Trail therein described is worth of registration and protection under the provisions of Chapter 318, Laws of 1917. Therefore; it is ordered that the said Highway Trail be registered in the office of the Highway Department, as starting from >St. Paul, thence to Mpls [Minneapolis], Waverly< and thence via >Litchfield, Willmar, Benson, Morris, Graceville< and terminating at >Browns Valley< to be known as >East and West Highway< With the following color combination and design hereby authorized to be used in marking said highway trail: In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my official seal, at St. Paul, Minnesota, this >8th< day of >July< 191 >9< Certificate >Order< No. >524< Recorded >July 8 â€“ 19< >C M Babcock< Commissioner of Highways.
