In addition to a full program, a banquet was given by the Library Board of Virginia. Songs by Miss Inez Davey of Eveleth and music by Anhalt's orchestra were enjoyed. Guests were later taken to the Lyric Theater. An automobile trip to Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Chisholm, and Hibbing was offered, and a visit to Hull-Rust, Mahoning mines, the largest open pit mines in the world.
