South Minnesota Avenue in St. Peter extends diagonally upward from a point slightly above the lower left corner of this aerial view and runs across the width of the image. The side streets are, from left to right, Nassau, Park Row, and Broadway. The Nicollet County Bank, the Nicollet Hotel, and the Johnson & Company building are among the visible businesses.
View of Fond du Lac. One-hundred Thirty-First Avenue West is at the far right. The boat landing is One-hundred Thirty-Third avenue west. Excursion boats like the Montauk (built in 1890) made daily trips along the St. Louis River to Fond du Lac.

The presence of Peavey elevators in the Duluth harbor dates back to 1900. In 1930, F.H. Peavey expands the Peavey Duluth terminal with concrete silos. In 1999, the Seaway Port Authority lets contract for razing of Occident and Peavey elevators. Garfield Avenue is the main street that runs the length of Rice's Point. It is the street in the lower left corner of this photograph. Houses and businesses on Garfield are parallel to the rail yards of the Northern Pacific; Great Northern; Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha. Garfield Avenue takes you to the Interstate Bridge.

This aerial view of St. Peter extends from the Broadway Bridge on the right to North Fourth Street on the left and from Grace Street along the bottom of the image to the northern limits of the city. The boulevard along North Minnesota Avenue that began at Skaro Street is clearly shown.
Aerial view from the south village limits of New Brighton was taken by MacGillis & Gibbs Company, a pole yard company, which is seen in the lower half of the photo. Notable buildings include the First Congregational Church, New Brighton Elementary School, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and the New Brighton Village Hall.
The Winona State Teachers College campus is at the center of this photo of Winona. It was probably taken from Garvin Heights, the bluff to the south of Lake Winona.
