Dated the fourth day of March in 1871, this bond was issued by the Borough of Saint Peter in order to raise money to finance the construction of the Winona & Saint Peter Railroad. The value of the bond at maturity was five hundreds dollars. The railroad crossed the Minnesota River and entered Nicollet County near the site of the St. Peter State Hospital in May of 1871. The railroad eventually extended through St. Peter, Traverse, Oshawa, Nicollet, and Courtland in Nicollet County before it crossed the Minnesota River into Brown County.
This booklet describes the planning and building of the Duluth Aerial Ferry Bridge in 1904-1905. Many photographs and drawings illustrate the progress and describe the working of the bridge. Details on dimensions, specifications, and costs of operation are provided.
The State Highway Commission of Minnesota was organized January 12th, 1906, under the provisions of chapter 163, General Laws of 1905. This safety poster warned against reckless behavior around streetcars. It was cut down from a car card, and advertisement displayed inside a streetcar and was used as backing for another photo in a scrapbook, which is why part of the text is missing.

Twenty-eight deaths were listed for 1918 as opposed to 13 in 1917.
