The Inspiration Point scenic lookout roadside retreat on highway 16 near Lanesboro, that was built by Civilian Conservation Corp. Company 751. The work was part of FDR's New Deal program.
A bird's-eye view of the State Fish Hatchery built in 1925 at site of the old Duschee Mill. The location took advantage of Big Spring which has the largest spring flow in Minnesota. It is owned by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Division of Fisheries and supplies a large percentage of trout stocked in Minnesota lakes and streams.

Images in this collection were found in the attic of an old farm house in Kandiyohi County formerly owned by George Kallevig. Whether these negatives are from the Kallevig family or not is unknown.
This is a clear view of the park bridge entrance from the London Road sidewalk. A fence protects pedestrians from the railroad tracks crossed by the bridge. Lakeshore Park was renamed Leif Erikson Park 1929.
