The 1927 Lester River Bridge is a stone-faced concrete arch bridge that carries London Road-Congdon Boulevard (Minnesota Highway 61) over the Lester River in the northeastern portion of the city of Duluth.

The Conrad Anderson family home at 320 North Seventh Street is in the center of this photograph that was taken in St. Peter during the 1965 flood. A portion of a dike along the south side of Madison Street can be seen at the far right. Water was sent along Madison Street from Sunrise Drive to the Minnesota River. The local high school is visible in the distance in the upper left corner of the photo.

The construction of the Lake Zumbro Hydroelectric Power Plant dam began in 1917. The structure was designed by noted hydroelectric engineer, Hugh Lincoln Cooper. The dam, completed in 1919, is owned by Rochester Public Utilities. Looking toward the east bank, the Power house, with almost three walls completed, is visible in the center.
