The Mulvey House is located at 622 Churchill Street West in Stillwater, Minnesota. The refined, well-executed and respectfully preserved exterior of this Italianate home makes this one of the finest examples of its kind in Stillwater, Minnesota. The Mulveys owned a small, one-story house before the Civil War. Over time, other additions were made to the rear of the home. The site also includes a stone carriage house, built to house James Mulvey's horses and carriage collection.

Ivory McKusick's small French Second Empire bluff-top home reflects McKusick's successes in lumbering and government supply contracts during the Civil War. The heavy mansard roof was the height of style during the era, and the home is on the National Register of Historic Places. The original house was built in 1866, with a prominent addition in 1872 becoming the front, or main, part of the home. Ivory was one of several McKusick brothers who established themselves in lumbering in Stillwater. The house is located at the corner of North Second Street.

Parking lot in front of Alfred Parkers home on West Broadway. The son of a Methodist Clergyman, Alfred Parker was born in Maine in 1824. He served in the Mexican War and went to the California gold fields in the rush of 1849. In the early 1850s he came back east by rail and then up the Mississippi by steamboat to St. Paul. In 1854, Parker homesteaded a farm near what is now 42nd and Perry. In 1855 Parker married his neighbor's daughter, Elizabeth Malbon. Her father built the couple a fine house at 4109 Lakeland. A couple years later he built another house on an adjoining lot. The Parker house was used as a stopover by travelers and teamsters hauling on the Bottineau Road. Both houses, in the heart of the business district, were torn down in the 1970s.

Newsreel film dated 1931 includes scenes of downtown Glenwood businesses, business people, churches, and resorts, and the national tour of the 20 Millionth Ford automobile. The newsreel was commissioned by Henry Longaker of the Glenwood Theater to promote tourism to Lake Minnewaska. The film crew spent at least a week in Glenwood. This 13-minute reel is footage of particular interest to a local audience. It is a copy reel on 35 millimeter nitrate film without visible splicing.
