On the day after streetcars stopped running in Minneapolis, the Minnesota Railfans Association chartered two cars for a farewell trip. Cars stopped on top of bridge.

Former Duluth streetcar converted to diesel power, used to shuttle Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range employees between the Proctor roundhouse and yard office.
When the Duluth streetcars were abandoned in 1939, the Duluth, Missaba & Iron Range Railroad bought car 268, installed a diesel engine, and used it to transport employees around its Proctor rail yard and shop complex.
