Description:
An architectural rendering of the First Methodist Episcopal Church in St. Paul, located at Portland Ave. and Victoria St. The cornerstone was laid October 15, 1907. Built in the Classic Greek Style the dedication booklet says, "Facing Holly Avenue in a situation ideal to show its classic and simple architecture, the massive columns of the portico give character and attract attention." The booklet goes on to say, "The main auditorium has eight hundred and fifty sittings." It housed an organ built by the Austin Organ Company of Hartford, Connecticut costing $7600.

Three part set of architectural blueprints for the six original, 70 foot Express Boats built by the Twin City Rapid Transit Company in 1906. Designed by Wayzata boat builder Royal C. Moore, these boats were in service on Lake Minnetonka until 1926. Three of these boats (Como, Minnehaha, and White Bear) were scuttled to the bottom of Lake Minnetonka in 1926, while two others (Harriet and Stillwater) were scrapped. The "Hopkins" was sold and used as an excursion vessel until it was scuttled in 1949. The "Minnehaha" was raised in 1980, restored 1990-1996, and returned to passenger service May 25, 1996.

Untitled. Pattern sheet for plaster ornamentation, grape clusters, vines and leaves separated by S-curves. Pattern is repeated decorating the narrow ribs cross the overhead arch of the nave. Pattern is broken by smaller rosettes half-way up each side, and at center by a large protruding florette.
Sheet no. 203. Framed scene, Christ at center greeting Mary, the Cross against his shoulder. A centurion stands behind him to the right, another sketchy figure to his left. Frame design is sketched in to upper right corner. Also measurements, notion for ""inscription." Stations were crafted by McBride Studios - New York and Pietrasanta, Italy.

The view from Groveland Avenue shows the front of Plymouth Congregational Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota, with the sanctuary on the right. The fourth Plymouth Congregational Church building is located on Groveland Avenue between Nicollet and LaSalle Avenues in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The decision to follow its membership and move further south on Nicollet Avenue was inevitable but controversial. The building committee, led by Joseph Kingman, selected the Boston architectural firm Shepley, Rutan, and Coolidge. The style is English Rural Gothic inspired by the Congregational Church of Newton Centre, Massachusetts. The exterior is constructed of seam-faced granite from a quarry in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The interior features wooden trusses and oak paneling.
This original drawing is signed by the artist, dated October 1874. It is 19 1/2 x 25 1/4 inches, with captions in Swedish and English and a scale. The drawing is significantly close to the building constructed by O. N. Ostrom and E. P. Bassford and dedicated in 1876. Old Main is listed on the National Register.
Set of 12 architectural drawings showing both exterior and interior features of Brainard Hall on the campus of the St. Cloud State Teachers College (St. Cloud State University) in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The drawings show the plot plan (how the building would be placed on the property), foundation, basement, and first floor, detailed floor construction, north, south, east, and front elevation views, front elevation of east and west wings, lounge and ends of building, cross sections and longitudinal views of sections of the buildings, including fireplaces, walls, and cupolas on top of wings and lounge (which includes a clock), detail views of lounge and dormitory entrance, and details of the truss.
Designed by architects Polivka and McMahon, the building was constructed and opened in the early 1940s, then used by the National Youth Administration, a branch of the Works Progress Administration (WPA). In 1947, the building reopened as a men's dormitory for St. Cloud State and renamed Brainard Hall in honor of faculty member and acting president Dudley Brainard. Brainard Hall closed in 1958 and was demolished in 1960.

First floor plan of the residence of W. M. Nutting. Scale: 1/4 inch to 1 foot. Built in 1888 for the John Claudius and Calista (Morse) Nutting family, and given to Carleton College in 1970 by their granddaughters. Contemporary newspaper reports referred to the house as one of the finest in the city. It was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 due to its status as the only remaining example of a brick home of this size and period in Northfield.
Blueprints for the First National Bank in Farwell, Minnesota 1921, drawn by O. E. Larson, Architect from Starbuck, Minnesota. The plans were drawn September 5, 1921 and include front, south, and rear elevations as well as a cross section, floor plan, and basement plan.
Blueprints and original drawings for the East Zion Church Norwegian Lutheran Congregation near Starbuck, Minnesota. The drawings were done by O.E. Larson in 1920 and the building was built by Larson Brothers Construction. There are 12 large sheets that include original drawings and blueprints of various elevations and details. There is also an 11 page specification book.
