This branch of the Minneapolis Public Library opened in the Citizen's Aid Building in 1927 to provide resources to the workers in that building, which were mainly related to social work, child welfare, public health and crime prevention.

The first branch of the Minneapolis Public Library to serve the northeast Minneapolis community was established in 1913 in the Sheridan High School building, shown here at Broadway and University Avenue Northeast. Branch services later moved to the Logan Park fieldhouse, and eventually became the Pierre Bottineau branch.

Children in a basement room of the Seven Corners Branch of Minneapolis Public Library. The Seven Corners (Cedar-Riverside) area was teeming with new immigrants and the library was quite busy. This branch, at 300 Fifteenth Avenue South, was in service from 1912 to 1967.

Sandstone Public Library, built in 1960, is located in the same building as the village hall in Sandstone, Minnesota. Founded in 1959, ECRL is the oldest existing regional public library system in Minnesota. Headquartered in Cambridge, it is a consolidated library system with 14 libraries and Outreach Services and serves residents in Aitkin, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine counties.
After a city hall renovation in September 1991, the Sandstone Public Library expanded its space in the building by 3,400 square feet. Founded in 1959, ECRL is the oldest existing regional public library system in Minnesota. Headquartered in Cambridge, it is a consolidated library system with 14 libraries and Outreach Services and serves residents in Aitkin, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine counties.
The Rush City Public Library has been located on Main Street since 1987. The building was previously the office headquarters for the Plastech corporation. East Central Regional Library is a consolidated library system in Minnesota serving Aitkin, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine counties.
The Roosevelt branch of the Minneapolis Public Library, at 4026 Twenty-eighth Avenue South, opened in 1927 and wasadded to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

This building used to house the Robbinsdale Community Library, a branch of the Hennepin County Library. Built in 1925 by the Robbinsdale Library Club on Rockford Road, now known as 42nd Avenue North, it now houses the Robbinsdale Historical Society and Robbin Gallery.

This was the records loft of the St. Cloud Public Library's Carnegie building. The building stood at 124 Fifth Avenue South from 1902 until it was torn down in 1981. This image was part of a presentation used to persuade the community that the St. Cloud Public Library had outgrown its space and needed a new building.

The Princeton Area Library opened in a new building overlooking the Rum River on August 24, 1990. East Central Regional Library is a consolidated library system in Minnesota serving Aitkin, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine counties.
