A typewritten note attached to the photo reads: "Workers Who Read -- Since 1905 the Library has given service to telephone operators, firemen, clerks, streetcar employees and many other groups who find it difficult to get to the Central or branch libraries. The Webber Park branch of the Minneapolis Public Library was formerly known (from 1910 to 1954) as the Camden Park branch. Renamed in 1954, it was housed in the Webber Park fieldhouse at 4380 Webber Parkway, until the building was razed in 1979.
