Otsego cemetery plat map is the original plan of the cemetery drawn in approximately 1854, showing plots purchased by the city's founders and pioneers. It was designed during the time of the Rural Cemetery Movement and is an example of an early community graveyard (and cemetery association), not associated with a church.
This map shows the village of Traverse des Sioux along the Minnesota River. The village was named after the Traverse des Sioux, which was the French name for the crossing site of the river by the Dakota people who lived in the vicintiy.

This map of Duluth and the surrounding area as of 1865 was drawn by R.E. Carey based on old records and memoirs. The accompanying booklet, also by Carey, describes historical sites in Duluth, which are number coded on the map. Sites include early houses, a sawmill, a schoolhouse, an early brewery, the Vermilion Trail, and a stone quarry.

This is an original plat of Olmsted County with many handwritten notes and drawings showing early Minnesota settlers, farmers and other town landscape features. This map is the earliest documentation we have found in our collection of the farms, towns, and topography of Olmsted County, Minnesota.
One volume of the 1872 ledger with hand drawn plat maps and landowners written in pencil. The ledger has what is thought to be a bullet hole perforating the book almost cover to cover. The twelve Waseca County townships have all been included, however not all plats drawn contain content. The back of the ledger contains five entries of bounties paid for wolves and taxes collected in the early villages of Clear Lake City, Village of Wilton and East Janesville in Waseca County, Minnesota.

Hand-drawn land surveys made from 1869-1941 to determine and identify land ownership and/or section boundaries in various parts of Washington County. The volume includes an index on pages 638-641 that lists each township and section and the pages in the volume on which information is provided. A transcript of that list accompanies this document and can be found at the beginning of this document.

One atlas (394 pages), illustrated, maps (part colored), portraits, 46 cm. Minnesota Historical Society reserve copy originally purchased in 1874 by Christian Schrade of Lakeland, Minnesota. In 1981, it was donated to Minnesota Historical Society by Myrtle P. Schrade, a descendant of Christian Schrade.
This plat book was drawn from actual surveys and county records and includes Olmsted County, the individual townships, cities, towns, a patron's directory and a table of distances for the county. Township maps show the property owners, location of roads, railroad tracks, schools, rivers, farm houses, cemeteries and mills.
Map shows names of property owners surrounding Lake Minnetonka, naming Lake Minnetonka bays, communities and neighboring lakes. Color was added to designate townships. Sections are numbered. Map is bordered by advertising from local businesses. This map, matted and framed under ultraviolet-protecting glass, is dated 1879.
Map of Grand Marais Harbor dated September 1883 shows breakwater, dredged area and soundings reduced to low water. The harbor's western point is named Howenstine's Point and the eastern point is named Mayhew's Point both after Grand Marais settlers. Structures, post office, docks, fish house and stables are identified along the harbor.

Map of Nicollet County, Minnesota, 1885. Cover names Haynes & Woodard as the publishers. The book contains 22 pages of color maps of all 13 Nicollet County townships. This is one of two versions of this atlas in the collection of the Nicollet County Historical Society. Some of the individual township maps have been cut into two sections in order to attach them to blank pages. Some of the individual township maps of the second atlas have been presented in a different manner than those found in this atlas. Some of the maps in the second atlas have been folded. Because of the cuts and folds, the use of both atlases is required in order to be able to read all of the names of the rural property owners.

This is the second of two versions of this atlas in the collection of the Nicollet County Historical Society. Individual township maps of this second atlas have been presented in a different manner than those found in the first atlas. Most of the maps in this atlas have been folded. Because of cuts in the first atlas and folds in this atlas, the use of both atlases is required in order to be able to read all of the names of the rural property owners.
Map shows of the condition of the St. Anthony Falls Apron, made up of old oak planking (1877), new oak planking (1885), and new pine planking (1885). This 1889 map of the Duluth area (including parts of St. Louis and Carlton counties in Minnesota and Douglas County in Wisconsin) was compiled and drawn from U.S. Land and Coast Surveys by R.H.L. Jewett. It was done at a scale of one inch to one mile, and includes roads, railroads, rivers, streams, and lakes.
