This book of one folded sheet with ten plates that provide small drawings of Duluth buildings, including offices, factories, schools, churches, and residences. Images include the Masonic Temple Opera House, the Woodbridge Building, the Incline Railway, the Lyceum Theater, the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, and homes of G.C. Hartley, A.T. Crosley, Charles D'Autremont, and E.C. Gridley.
Set of architectural drawings shows both exterior and interior features of the Nicollet Hotel in St. Peter. The hotel opened in 1873 as the Nicollet House, and was one of the finest hotels in southern Minnesota. Edward P. Bassford was the hotel's architect. The building ceased to be used as a hotel in 1974. Saved from impending demolition following the 1998 tornado in St. Peter, the building survived to become an apartment building, as well as the home of various businesses.
The home of Gustaf Erickson at 218 Everett Street North in Stillwater, Minnesota. Erickson, the proprietor of Erickson Furniture, was the father-in-law of the Frederick Holcombe, the photographer. Holcombe marred Elizabeth Erickson in the house.
