Volume 2, number 3 of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) Peddler was published in October 1940. Editor-in-chief of this issue was Mary C. Baker from Duluth Public Library. The M.L.A Peddler was created and conceived by the Junior members of the Minnesota Library Association. This issue contains information on Minneapolis book club, a Northwest States book, art, and gift show, St. Paul memorial funds, the MLA fall meeting, Duluth public library, Arrowhead Library Club, new departments in St. Paul libraries, library news around the state, radio program "Once in Minnesota," Chisholm's vacation reading club, planning committee report, and a memorial to Miss Louise Lamb
Volume 3, number 6 of the of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) Peddler was published in September 1942. Editor-in-chief was Mae M. Wiita from St. Cloud. This issue contains the program agenda for the Minnesota LIbrary Association's 50th Anniversary Convention, listing of Minnesota Library Association officers, section chairmen and committee chairmen, biographies of convention speakers, member news, institutional library news and book recommendations. The M.L.A Peddler was created and conceived by the Junior members of the Minnesota Library Association. The first issue states "...[The] Peddler will bring you bits of personal gossip, news about library enterprises, [and] matters of friendly interest."
Volume 1, number 3 of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) Peddler was published in September 1939 (eight pages). Sponsored by the Minnesota Library Association, the Editor-in-chief is Andre Nielsen, Minneapolis, Regional editors are Alberta Seiz, Red Wing and Virginia Grady, Duluth, and Circulation Manager is LeMoyne Perry, Minneapolis. This issue is dedicated to the upcoming Tri-State (Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin) Convention to be held at the Hotel Schroeder in Milwaukee, WI, October 18-21, 1939, and includes travel costs, schedules, accommodations, and the tentative program. Issue also includes a note from the MLA President, Ruth Rosholt, and a section entitled Library Potporri, including news of Gratia Countryman's cornerstone dedication speech at the Champlain Library, Appointments (job notes), Travel, Stag Section (Male MLA members), Marriages, and News Around the State. Minnesota News includes an update on the Newspaper Indexing Project under the supervision of Gratia Countryman, and the Microfilming section working on the Minneapolis Journal (1878-1939).

This issue contains the program schedule for the 49th annual conference on October 2-4, biographies of conference presenters, news items about members and library activities, marriage and birth notices, travel accounts, Minneapolis Public Library and St. Paul Public Library radio program schedule, employment transfer notices, Children's Book Week announcement, secretary's column, and a book review. Notes from the 12th annual conference of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) held on October 27-28 in Mankato, Minnesota. Mr. C. E. Wise, president of the Mankato Library Board, provided the welcoming address. Presentations were given on the topics of reference service in small libraries, county extension of library services in rural areas, reading for children, a report from the Committee on State Documents, and conducting a library on $1000 a year. Six resolutions are recorded and a list of elected officers is included.

MJ Rossman, Assistant Director for OCLC and Reference, 1986-1996. MJ joined the Minitex staff in 1980 as Head of the Minitex Reference Service. She became Assistant Director in 1986 with responsibilities for directing the OCLC and Reference Units. Direction of the MULS Program was later added to her responsibilities.
